Editorial and source policy

MoreGage should add experience and explanation—not repackage somebody else’s newsletter.

General education only

Source order

  1. Legislation, regulators, and official statistics
  2. Direct lender or provider material
  3. Named research and economist commentary
  4. Reputable reporting and industry context

Original contribution

Every article must add a MoreGage explanation, comparison, calculation, worked example, or documented former-lender perspective. Newsletter material is used as a research lead and attributed viewpoint, not copied or closely paraphrased.

AI assistance

AI may help organise sources, drafts, or formats. A human author must verify material facts, links, dates, calculations, claims, and the general-information boundary before publication.

Worked examples

Illustrative material is labelled at the index, page introduction, and conclusion. It must not borrow identifiable client details or imply a real outcome.

Corrections and review

Material pages show a review date. Corrections are logged, important changes are explained, and outdated content is updated or retired rather than silently left to rank.
